# SEARIN

> SEARIN builds custom digital + physical severance systems ("AI kill switches") that cut an AI system's power, compute, network, memory, data and replicas on human command, with verified, logged, staged restore. Markets: homes, companies, governments. Every system is custom built after an on-site evaluation; nothing is sold off the shelf and nothing is charged online.

Key facts: human authority is always required (one key at home, two keys in a company, n-of-m quorum in government). A cut stops, it does not erase. Coverage is limited to systems the customer controls. REV-A bench prototype is tested; CE/UL certification is not yet granted; the control room on the site is a simulation.

Hardware status (as of 2026-09-26):
- Sentinel Mk.II (REV-A) (REV-A · 2U bench prototype): Built & bench-tested. Physically built. Cuts real load on the bench with two-key authority, staged restore and a signed log. Not a sellable unit.
- Sentinel Mk.II MK2-R / MK2-W (REV-B · 4U production design): Design complete. Four-board production design with parts list and test plan. First REV-B units not yet built.
- Sentinel Home SH-1 (Residential derivative): Design complete. Derived from the Mk.II severance core. Enclosure and circuit layout defined; no unit built yet.
- Sentinel Sovereign SV-C (Federated controller): Concept design. Architecture defined (quorum authority, up to 128 downstream interlocks). Built only per contract.

Timeline:
- Done: REV-A bench prototype — 2U prototype built and cutting real load on the bench.
- Done: REV-B production design — Four-board design, full parts list, enclosure and test plan complete.
- Target Q4 2026: First REV-B units built — Initial production-design units assembled and tested internally.
- Target Q1 2027: Safety & EMC testing submitted — Units submitted to an accredited third-party lab for the certifications listed.
- Target Q2 2027: Pilot installations — Supervised pilot sites under evaluation agreements. No certified sale before this completes.
- Target Q3 2027: Certified units ship — First customer deliveries, only after certificates are issued and a witnessed factory test passes.
Only the REV-A bench prototype exists physically today. No SEARIN unit is certified yet, and none ships until third-party safety certification is granted. Dates marked 'Target' are plans, not commitments. Preorders are free and non-binding.
